Founded in 2012, Le Sieur de Dunham is dedicated to the preservation of the breed. We started our breeding with the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Korthals then, a few years later, the Gordon Setter.

We are working to make known and appreciate the many qualities of the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. Friendly bearded, the griffin is a perfect family dog that accepts training well.

The primary goal of our breeding is to preserve the standard of conformation and work of the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon and the Gordon Setter so that they remain the great hunters of small game that we know.

Our breeding is located on the South Shore of Montreal, 20 minutes from the Samuel-de-Champlain bridge. Our selection is first and foremost the hunting qualities of our dogs, the balance in their heads which is essential and the most beautiful models, always in the standard of the breed .

`<<We>> , Serge Mimeault and Nathalie LeClair, breed together. Serge continues the training received by our friend Dominique Demers professional trainer. He hunts and handles our dogs (most of the time) in Navhda competitions. As for Nathalie, she handles and nurtures the puppies throughout the first 8 to 10 weeks of a newborn's life. She regularly accompanies Serge on the hunt and takes care of registrations, contracts and customer follow-up.

Since the primary goal of our breeding is dedicated to the preservation of the breed, all our dogs have passed the required tests according to their breed; DNA, hip dysplasia screening radiography as well as genetic tests and all our dogs have exemplary temperaments.

Every day with our dogs is filled with joy and lots of little moments of happiness and complicity with them, whether at home, on the hunt, at play or in the maternity ward.

And with puppies, happiness is multiplied by 100! Births, first steps, opening your eyes, first porridge of kibble then games, outings in the sun, hugs, games and even the little nibbles that tickle..._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_ In short, we love them!!
